October is Anti-Bullying Month and the Burke Centre Tab is raising awareness for bullying in the community! We would appreciate it if you could take a few seconds to answer this poll:

Help the Burke Centre Library design and decorate the new Mini Book statue! For more information visit the Art in the Pages webpage to learn how you can have your artwork featured in the library and win a cash prize!

TAB is also rebooting a blog! We will be accepting submissions to the blog that you can gain service hours for! Read the rules for submission, then submit your book reviews, book trailers here, and see them posted on the blog!

Teen Advisory Board, also known as TAB, consists of teenagers that create programs targeting other teens to improve our community. These teens are taking the initiative to reach out to others in their community by spreading the word starting from people their own age.

This website will provide information regarding programs we have started. It is a reference point for the people involved in our existing clubs and a place for those who have expressed interest in joining our activities.

We are working closely with Fairfax County to organize events and bring in guest speakers to host our own programs. If you’re a local teenager with a skill or passion you would like to share with the community, you are welcome to contact us to with program ideas!
